Roger Federer Unchallenged in US Open 2012 First Round


Roger Federer was virtually unchallenged when he opened his US Open campaign against the unseeded Donald Young. This was the first meeting between them and yet Federer he was rarely bothered by his younger opponent. The number one seeded Federer won the match in straight sets, 6-3 6-2 6-4 in less than two hours and moved to the second round where he faced Bjorn Phau of Germany.
